As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your exceptional customer service skills will ensure that every guest has an enjoyable experience, making them want to return time and time again. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems to process customer transactions efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including the dining space, equipment, and food preparation areas. Assist with food preparation tasks, ensuring that all items meet quality standards before serving. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Experience operating cash registers and POS systems is preferred. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Sales skills to promote menu items effectively and enhance customer experience in the café setting. Previous experience in food service or café environments is advantageous but not required.
