Barista/Cashier/Customer Service MET BrewMasters Coffee shop 5380 Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, Norcross, GA 30071 Overview We are seeking a friendly, happy face to join our team. Must be self-motivated and have a passion for coffee. Must be a quick learner. Must have good time management skills and be able to think on your feet. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly manner. Process customer transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring accuracy in all financial exchanges. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including coffee and food offerings, to provide recommendations and answer questions. Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Assist in inventory management by restocking items as needed and reporting shortages. Uphold company standards for customer service and food safety at all times. Qualifications Previous coffee shop experience. Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating a welcoming environment. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with Square POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A passion for the food industry and providing quality service to customers.
