Cashier/Barista/Customer Service The Coffee Gin Company 803 3rd Avenue, West Point, GA 31833 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Barista/ Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will handle transactions efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your passion for customer service and knowledge of our products will help drive sales and foster customer loyalty. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and store policies to provide informed recommendations. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations in food handling. Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and assist in product displays. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Perform cleaning duties to ensure a safe and welcoming atmosphere for customers. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Knowledge of coffee preparation and sales techniques is a plus. Familiarity with retail math for accurate cash handling. Understanding of food safety practices to ensure compliance in food service operations. Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers efficiently. Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours effectively. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
