Barista/Cashier Salt and Light Cafe 159 Main Street, Groton, MA 01450 At Salt & Light, we see art in all we do – food, drink, retail, and service. As a hybrid shop of scratch kitchen, fair trade coffee/tea, and ethical retail, it makes it easy to stand behind what we provide for our community and those passing through. We are currently looking for that special someone to join our team – someone dedicated to the art of coffee and customer service!

Responsibilities:

Pull incredible espresso shots and craft mind-blowing drinks Greet and serve our guests with the heart-felt hospitality that we’re known for Be proactive in cleanliness and organization Stay current and knowledgeable in barista culture, recipes, and techniques Flex your responsibility muscle when the managers are not present Take your coworker’s and customer’s safety seriously by adhering to all ServSafe, allergen certification, CDC and HACCP guidelines. Create a better world for the future by focusing on sustainability Operate as a unified team – attend team meetings, communicate, help out where it’s needed, and be there for each other as much as you are for the customers

Requirements:

1 year of experience working in a craft coffee environment Ability to pull espresso shots manually Ability to create latte art is preferred
