We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your role will involve working with various coffee and food products while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks. Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to assist customers with their selections. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in food preparation, including pastries and light snacks as needed. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking orders accurately and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling policies. Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment. Experience Previous experience in sales or food service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety standards is beneficial.
