Cashier/Barista Tous Les Jours Cafe North Quincy, MA 02171 Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Cashier/ Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food handling safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Perform basic math calculations for order processing and inventory management as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in a barista or similar role is preferred but not required; we are willing to train motivated individuals. Familiarity with POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing inventory effectively. Experience in food preparation or food handling is advantageous but not mandatory.
