Barista Position Available In Madison, Mississippi

Prepare a full variety of specialty coffee beverages, including classics such as lattes, cappuccinos, and espressos, as well as custom coffee and related brewed beverages.

Duties:

use prior experience and knowledge of barista techniques to expertly prepare brewed beverages and create innovative latte art; greet customers in a friendly manner & take food and drink orders; execute sales transactions; track and order inventory; evaluate and select coffee varieties; maintain and clean equipment and schedule repairs as needed; keep work environment and cafe clean, sanitary and organized; respond to and resolve customer issues; evaluate and modify processes to improve efficiency and quality of service. Requires 3 months of full-time work experience in the Job Offered.

Experience must include:

a) preparing a variety of specialty coffee beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, Americanos and macchiatos; b) creating latte art; c) tracking and ordering inventory; d) evaluating and selecting coffee varieties; and e) maintaining and cleaning equipment.
