Customer Service Barista ben & bean Bakery and Cafe 925 Seaside Rd SW, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and take their orders in a friendly and efficient manner
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately process transactions
• Prepare and serve food items according to customer preferences and company standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area and dining space
• Upsell additional menu items or promotions to increase sales
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner
• Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers

Skills:

• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient service
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating order totals
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Sales skills to effectively upsell menu items and increase revenue
• Understanding of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
