Job Description
Lead Barista Provides excellent customer service by preparing quality beverages, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. Handles cash transactions and secures the retail Starbucks location.

You’ll Need:
High school diploma or GED and four years of food service experience. ServSafe certification Advanced Store Training certification within 90 days (with Starbucks District Manager)
Essential Functions:
Delivers high-quality customer service and maintains high sanitation ratings. Ensures product quality, follows recipes, and meets service schedules. Opens and closes the store, minimizes waste, and properly handles equipment and supplies. Prepares food following standardized recipes and HACCP guidelines. Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment and addresses sanitation inspection feedback. Plans daily tasks to ensure smooth meal service and adjusts food quantities as needed. Acts as Assistant Manager when necessary and maintains compliance with policies and brand standards. Assists in budget management and minimizes overtime; participates in food safety audits. Completes all required training, including compliance, HIPAA, and OSHA courses. Fosters a positive work environment, communicates effectively, and supports teamwork.

Strong teamwork and leadership skills Ability to operate cooking equipment and follow recipes Comfortable working in varying temperatures (kitchen to freezer) High customer service standards Effective communication with customers, patients, and staff Experience training and supervising junior employees
