And that’s what we want. People who make genuine connections from the register. We’re a small family owned coffee shop with one location and hands on ownership. We need employees who will make our customers feel special. We are not a coffee shop where we would make someone feel bad for ordering a type of latte we think is atrocious. Who cares? People like what they like! We’re not here to step on anyone’s joy.

Responsibilities:
Opening/closing Working with cash Making coffee drinks Making cocktails Ensuring each customer has a great experience This will help: Customer service experience Bring a resume in person and hand it to a manager/owner – we will always consider these resumes first. We will take on “summer help” but it is not what we are looking for, we want someone who wants to come in and stay past the summer. Forest Trail is inside of a 100+ year old house so everyone here is expected to clean, a lot. We also bake everything in house so if you have baking experience, even if it’s just at home, that’s helpful. If you have no coffee/bar experience believe me, that is okay, we can train you to steam milk, shake cocktails, clean, etc. I cannot stress this enough, we want people who are a pleasure to be around. We strive to make the best drinks you’ll find anywhere but we believe that you can give someone the best drink in the world with a crappy attitude and it will taste awful. If you give someone a mid drink with a great attitude, they’ll love it. So why not a great attitude and a great drink?
