Barista orr Cashier/part time Wet Paws Pet Grooming Charlotte, NC Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Operate cash registers and handle financial transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required. Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math for accurate cash handling. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds as needed.
