In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring that each guest has an enjoyable experience. As a cashier, you will make sure to welcome everyone warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash management and processing credit card payments. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Engage with customers to promote menu items and upsell products effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Monitor inventory levels of supplies and communicate needs to management for timely restocking. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or as a Barista or Cashier is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus. A team player who can work collaboratively with others while also being able to take initiative when needed.
