In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently managing sales transactions and maintaining a welcoming market environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for the food industry, and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases. Operate cash registers and POS systems to process sales transactions efficiently. Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy and integrity. Maintain knowledge of coffee products and food items to provide informed recommendations to customers. Ensure the market area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs promptly and effectively. Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping experience for all customers. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of basic math principles. Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing time effectively.
