We serve simple, fresh, holistic foods and beverages while offering an interactive experience. As a team, we are united by this everyday. We appreciate coffee, love serving good food, offer a engaging atmosphere, cleanup after ourselves and open our arms to anyone who comes through the door. Our newest location of Drift is opening in Carolina Beach in early July of 2025 and we are looking for a hardworking Lead Barista who is ready to lead a great team! All staff training would begin at the end of June or early July. Lead Baristas will train new baristas and assist the General Manager on bar process and procedures. They must be a strong leader and communicator, while attending to all aspects of the floor during the shift. They are a positive influence through training and education for other baristas and strive for the highest of standards in drinks, guest interactions, attitude and brand ambassadorship. They must be able to handle high-volume stress, be able to multi-task throughout the shift, and offer customer service to all guests in the building. The role is constantly sharpening their knowledge on coffee and the tools used to make great tasting drinks.

About the job:

Baristas handle multiple roles in the shop. You are responsible for making espresso drinks, holding down the register, serving guests, dishes, cleaning, etc. It also requires preparing and serving food. The position requires being flexible and knowledgeable. The barista makes quality drinks at high volumes while creating and maintaining a clean, functional workspace. This is a full time position based in Hampstead, NC and this role will report to the store Manager.

You will:

Deliver impeccable hospitality to our guests and your fellow teammates Provide a memorable customer experience through friendly service and consistently-delicious beverages Operate the cash register in a friendly and accurate manner Be knowledgeable of all menu items Assist in food prep as needed Follow recipe guidelines and sanitation procedures Support your team in keeping the cafe running smoothly and beautifully. These tasks may vary but can include washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, cleaning and organizing condiment station, and taking out trash You are: Hospitality driven Motivated to put others before yourself Comfortable with following directions and problem-solving when needed Diligent, humble, and open-minded Reliable and consistent where teammates and managers can always depend on you to be punctual and dedicated.

You have:

2 Years of barista experience 1 Year of food service experience Means of transportation
