You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and beverages. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to standard recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of front of house, including equipment and utensils. Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and address any inquiries or concerns. Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Skills Strong math skills, including basic math and retail math for accurate cash handling. Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an enthusiasm for learning about different coffee varieties. Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively to customers. Familiarity with cash registers and point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. •pay is hourly plus tips!
