Baristia-Opener at Aroma Joe’s Loudon, NH Aroma Joes #144, Loudon, NH 31 Route 106 S, Loudon, NH 03307 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant café team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations. Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards and regulations. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items, placing orders as necessary. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Uphold the café’s standards for quality and presentation in every beverage served. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage crafting is a plus. Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards customers and team members alike. Basic food handling knowledge is essential; food preparation experience is beneficial. A passion for coffee culture and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
