Your role is crucial in creating memorable experiences for our patrons while promoting our menu offerings. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash register transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the highest standards of hygiene. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about menu items. Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet safety standards. Stay updated on coffee trends and product knowledge to enhance customer interactions. Qualifications Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation is an advantage. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is beneficial. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
