We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions and manage cash handling. Assist in managing inventory levels by monitoring stock of supplies and notifying management when reordering is necessary. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations throughout all food preparation processes. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and communication. Skills Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing sales accurately. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus for managing inventory effectively. Ability to operate POS systems confidently while ensuring accuracy in transactions.
