In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring their orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. Operate the cash register, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils used in beverage preparation. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, milk, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems (experience with Aloha POS is a plus). Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A willingness to learn about coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential for this role.
