As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, responsible for creating exceptional beverages and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders efficiently. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for processing transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards while handling food and beverages. Engage with customers to provide information about menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Experience Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred but not required. Familiarity with retail math concepts to assist in sales tracking and inventory management is beneficial. Basic knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential. Strong time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
