As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting. Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must speak English Must be available to work all shifts including weekends and holidays Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items according to established recipes and standards. Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience. Operate cash registers accurately for processing payments and handling cash transactions. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of supplies and ingredients. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Handle customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Skills Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell menu items effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash register operations and transactions. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
