As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining a welcoming café atmosphere, and providing outstanding customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and food service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care. Operate the espresso machine and other café equipment efficiently while ensuring cleanliness and maintenance. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and handling transactions using the POS system. Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards and are presented attractively. Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies; assist in restocking as needed. Uphold health and safety regulations within the café environment to ensure a safe experience for both customers and staff. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere that encourages teamwork and support. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or café industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Strong skills in time management to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Basic knowledge of retail math to assist with cash handling and sales transactions. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for coffee culture and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods.
