The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ensuring that each customer has a delightful experience. This role requires strong time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards. Operate Square POS system for processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and offering assistance with menu selections. Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and register operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Adhere to food safety guidelines and health regulations to ensure the highest quality of products served. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with an ability to engage positively with customers. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. A passion for coffee and eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques and beverage preparation.
