As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating an inviting atmosphere for our customers while expertly crafting high-quality coffee beverages. Your enthusiasm for coffee and commitment to excellent customer service will help us deliver an exceptional experience to every guest who walks through our doors. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages with precision and care. Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Assist with food preparation and service as needed, adhering to food safety standards. Provide friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, helping them select beverages that suit their preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper change is given and maintaining balanced cash registers. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Experience Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus. Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Experience using a cash register or POS system is advantageous but not required. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
