As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and customer service. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently to process customer orders and handle transactions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, counters, and seating areas. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations during food preparation and service. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork and communication. Requirements Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks during busy periods. Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and an understanding of various coffee types is a plus. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Ability to follow food safety guidelines and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the café. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
