As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality coffee and food items. Your expertise in customer service and food preparation will ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Requirements Previous experience in the food service or coffee industry is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
