The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. This role requires a blend of culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes. Operate cash register, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling practices. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing inquiries or concerns. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including workstations and dining spaces. Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Engage with customers to create a friendly atmosphere and encourage repeat visits. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or café environment is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Familiarity with cash register operation and cash handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods. Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
