Main Street, Chester, NY 10918 Valkyrie Coffee Roasters is seeking an experienced barista for our crew! Join a team focused on serving specialty coffee and inventing new ways to enjoy coffee and tea beverages, while learning a ton about the process and love that goes behind every cup. We are looking for a few candidates with flexible schedules, with shifts available during the weekend primarily and the need for occasional weekday work as well. Candidates should have background knowledge in serving and preparing coffee, tea, and espresso based drinks. However, we are open to teaching these skills if we find the right person. We are looking for someone who loves serving and talking with customers, and who is community-minded. We are currently hiring for our 23 Main St Chester location, but will also be interviewing for a new location that is planned to open this September in Sugarloaf NY. Our staff average over $25-34 an hour after tips, and starting hourly rates will vary based on experience and completing a training period and will increase with satisfactory performance reviews.
