Barista Expert/Manager and Server ( separate jobs) Foodmandu Restaurant and Bar 4301 Queens Blvd, Sunnyside, NY 11104 Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated expert Barista to join our café team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will enhance the overall experience for our guests, making them feel valued and appreciated. Also seeking an experienced server/waitress. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and workstations. Assist customers with menu selections, providing recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and deliver exceptional customer service. Utilize POS systems efficiently, including Aloha POS, for processing orders and payments.

Server:

be a sales man/woman to customers in addition to being waitress Qualifications Previous experience in a café/bakery for three years Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Ability to operate cash registers and perform cash handling duties accurately. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Teach and instruct others about coffee as needed. Familiarity with sales techniques to promote café products effectively.
