As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your role will involve not only preparing coffee and other drinks but also ensuring that our customers have a pleasant experience from the moment they walk in. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations. Operate the POS system and cash register accurately to process customer transactions. Assist customers with menu selections and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe environment for both staff and customers. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality. Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere and support each other in daily tasks. Requirements Previous experience in food service or café settings is preferred, but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Excellent math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is beneficial. Understanding of food safety practices and food handling procedures. A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills to engage effectively with customers. Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
