What’s Brewing:

We are seeking a skilled barista adept at thriving in a dynamic coffee shop environment. Baristas at Don Carvajal Cafe must be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team. The ideal candidate is a true people-person, taking pride in delivering exceptional service experiences. You are customer-centric and passionate about serving a carefully curated menu, making every effort to meet your customers’ needs in their unique way. You will ensure that each beverage and food item meets Don Carvajal Cafe’s high standards of quality during every shift.

You will:

Deliver exceptional customer service, greeting guests warmly and providing memorable experiences Craft high-quality coffee drinks following our unique recipes and standards Operate the POS system efficiently, handling various payment methods with accuracy Maintain a clean, organized workstation and assist with inventory management Execute opening and closing procedures, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and cafe knowledge Uphold safety standards, using equipment properly and reporting any concerns promptly This role combines barista expertise with cashier duties, requiring a passion for coffee and customer service. You’ll be the face of Don Carvajal Cafe, creating positive experiences for every guest while maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications:

To excel as a Barista at Don Carvajal Cafe, individuals must successfully perform each essential duty outlined below. The requirements reflect the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the role.
