This unique part-time role blends hospitality, customer service, and cafe operations in a vibrant, family-centered coworking environment. You’ll be the welcoming face of our space—greeting guests, assisting parents and children, checking families in and out, and helping ensure our cafe and reception areas run smoothly. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their day and finds joy in supporting families. Ideal for candidates with experience in cafe, retail, or service environments and looking to grow into a larger role over time.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet members and guests with a warm, professional attitude Operate POS system and process transactions Check in/out children and their guardians using our system Answer phone calls regarding inquiries about our space and services Monitor stock and supplies; notify management when inventory runs low Maintain and update calendars, assist with scheduling tours or meetings Track membership balance and inform customers as balance approaches zero Keep the front desk tidy, welcoming, and well-organized Assist with cleaning tasks (e.g., restrooms, reception area) Support with content creation for social media (photos, reels, event highlights) Support the kid play area team when needed Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items Maintain cleanliness and safety in the cafe area Track cafe inventory and proactively communicate with the director Operate POS system and process transactions Ensure a high level of customer service for parents and children alike

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in customer service, food service, or hospitality preferred Preferred to have a current ServSafe or similar Food Handling Certification, or be willing to attain within the first 45 days of employment A genuine interest in coffee and creating a warm cafe experience for families Great communication and people skills Comfortable using basic computer tools (email, check-in system, social media) Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented Able to obtain PA/FBI Clearances and Background Checks within 45 days (we can help guide you through this)

Physical Demands:

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds Ability to reach, bend, and stand for extended periods
