Non-Exempt Job Objective:
To serve guests quickly, efficiently and with complete knowledge of food and beverage menus while keeping customer service at the highest standards of the company.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Maintain a welcoming environment for all guests while maintaining the highest of standards in relation to guest satisfaction, service and professionalism.
Specific Duties:
Warmly greet guests. Complete knowledge of menus including preparation. Ability to upsell, accurately take guest orders; Clean, stock and maintain cleanliness of work areas and restaurant; Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines and any other duties required by management. Other Duties and Responsibilities as may be designated.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, basic math skills, and understanding of federal, state and local liquor laws.
Education/Experience:
High school or equivalent; prior restaurant preferred but not required.
Language Skills :
Able to communicate effectively through both verbal and written means.
Equipment/Computer Expertise:
POS system experience strongly recommended; preferably knowledge of MICROS.
Physical Demands:
Able to stand for entire shift, lift 30 pounds, and bend throughout shift.
Work Environment:
Must be able to adapt to a quick pace at any moment/ability to work in a team environment/must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
