About the Role Our kavatenders are a blend of bartender, barista, and brand ambassador. You’ll be at the heart of our operation
• crafting drinks, engaging with customers, and helping people discover the world of kava and kratom. Since many guests will be new to our beverages, we’re looking for team members who are natural hosts
• welcoming, patient, and excited to guide customers through their experience while keeping service smooth and efficient behind the bar. • craft kava, kratom, and other non-alcoholic botanical beverages with precision, care, and consistency. Engage and educate customers
• introduce guests to our offerings, answer questions, and help guide their experience in a welcoming, knowledgeable way. Create a vibrant and inviting atmosphere
• curate an atmosphere that feels social, comfortable, and aligned with our brand and community. Take orders and process transactions
• efficiently handle POS operations while maintaining accuracy and speed. Collaborate with the team on events and promotions
• help bring community gatherings, themed nights, and brand-driven experiences to life. Maintain cleanliness and organization
• keep the bar, workstations, and customer areas neat, sanitary, and well-stocked. Support inventory management
• assist with stocking, restocking, and prep work as needed to keep service running smoothly. What We’re Looking For Hospitality experience
• kavatending, bartending, barista, or front-of-house preferred but not required. Strong communication and customer service skills
• the ability to educate guests on our products in an approachable and engaging way. Dedicated and reliable work ethic
• no task is too small, whether it’s brewing, stocking, cleaning, or assisting teammates during rushes. Multitaskers with attention to detail
• able to manage high volumes efficiently while maintaining cleanliness, organization, and quality control in drink prep and bar upkeep. Enthusiastic team players
• thrive in social, interactive work environments and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Ability to stay composed and work effectively under pressure
• capable of handling busy shifts with professionalism and energy. Curiosity and willingness to learn
