Barista Summer Moon Coffee (Clemson, SC) 341 College Avenue, Clemson, SC 29631
NEED:
1 Barista willing to work 30 hours per week, Clemson game days, and
Sundays:
Summer Moon baristas will prepare and serve specialty coffee, other beverages, and food items to customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provides outstanding customer service, making each customer feel welcome and loved Prepares and serves hot and cold beverages; correctly customizes orders as requested. Accurately describes menu items to customers. Processes customer payments using the proper buttons, including discounts and upcharges when applicable. Serves prepared foods and baked goods. Cleans and sanitizes all equipment, utensils, dishes, and work areas. Cleans and sanitizes service and seating areas. Ensures that their assigned tasks according to the provided task checklist are done at the end of each shift. Shows up to all scheduled shifts in uniform and on time.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Able to have a positive, outgoing attitude at work. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to follow all safe food handling procedures and sanitation practices. Ability to multitask. Good memory to recall faces, names, and preferences of regular customers. Ability to serve customers quickly, efficiently, and kindly.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Must be available to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to work on your feet for the duration of your shift (typically 8 hours).
Job Types:
Part-time, Seasonal Pay:
$14.00 – $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week
