Position Overview:

We are seeking a part time skilled Barista with a contagious positive energy and a willingness to learn and grow. As a vital member of our team, you’ll not only craft delicious beverages but also contribute to the vibrant and uplifting ambiance of our café. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for coffee, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, and teas, with precision and care. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all sanitation and safety standards. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions using POS systems. Operate coffee brewing equipment with precision and proficiency, upholding food safety standards in handling and preparing food and beverages. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly manner, creating memorable experiences. Assist in food preparation as needed, utilizing competence in food preparation techniques.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is preferred but not required; we’re willing to train the right candidate. A positive attitude and a genuine desire to make people’s day brighter. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Skills:

Knowledge of food safety practices in a food service setting, with basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, along with experience in the food industry, particularly in coffee preparation. Familiarity with POS systems for order processing. Experience in the food service industry is beneficial, but we’re also open to training the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
