Barista 4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 601 4th Avenue South, Nashville, TN 37210 Overview We are seeking a hard working Barista to prepare high quality drinks for both the general public and the young members (12-18) of our after-school program. Responsibilities Prepare and serve quality coffee, beverages, and food items to customers, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards. Utilize POS system to enter food and drink orders with attention to detail. Receive and process payments. Keep cafe items stocked as needed. Properly complete cash handling policies and procedures. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the coffee shop. Engage with members of our afterschool program, providing support and positive interactions. Requirements Previous experience in food service or the café industry is preferred but not mandatory. Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor. Genuine interest in working with youths, with the ability to connect and communicate effectively with them. Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Understanding of and commitment to the mission and values of our faith-based organization.
