As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your dedication to the art of coffee and your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere will be essential to our success.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service:

Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor. Take orders accurately and efficiently, offering suggestions and answering questions about the menu. Provide prompt and courteous service, ensuring customer satisfaction. Resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy.

Beverage Preparation:

Prepare a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, following recipes and quality standards. Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and brewers. Ensure the quality and consistency of beverages by using proper techniques and measurements. Create latte art and other visual enhancements to elevate the customer experience.

Transaction Handling:

Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling credit cards and mobile payments.

Cleanliness and Organization:

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the bar area, equipment, and customer areas. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a safe and healthy environment. Regularly clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and surfaces. Restock supplies and maintain inventory levels.

Teamwork and Communication:

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors, sharing information and addressing concerns. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer service role is preferred. Passion for coffee and a strong understanding of coffee brewing techniques. Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, outgoing personality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic math skills and money handling experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
