In this role, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while ensuring their orders are prepared accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns. Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register and Clover system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and other supplies. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Uphold food safety standards and adhere to health regulations in food preparation and service. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating change efficiently. Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods. Experience in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers. Clover a plus. Knowledge of retail math concepts can enhance operational efficiency. Sales skills to promote menu items and encourage additional purchases.
