Position Type:
Part-Time Overview:

The Starbucks Barista in our Bistro plays a pivotal role in providing exceptional guest experiences through the preparation and service of Starbucks coffee and other beverages. This role is integral to the fast-casual dining experience, offering a variety of to-go options and full sit-down fare for breakfast.

Key Responsibilities:
Beverage Preparation:

Expertly prepare and serve Starbucks coffee and other beverages with consistent quality and adherence to Starbucks standards.

Customer Service:

Greet and assist guests in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders accurately and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.

Food Preparation:

Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and ensuring proper storage of food items.

Order Processing:

Process customer orders promptly and accurately, collect payments, and handle transactions using POS systems.

Support Functions:

Provide support in food & beverage areas including busing, cleaning, resetting tables, kitchen, and delivering food orders to guests as needed.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Maintain cleanliness and organization of food and beverage preparation areas according to health and safety standards.

Cash Handling:

Count the bank at the end of shifts and adhere to property control audit standards and cash handling procedures.

Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role preferred; training will be provided. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service. Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Availability to work primarily weekends and occasional weekdays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds. Willingness to work in a dynamic environment that may include exposure to hot and cold temperatures, as well as noise.
