Honey Rock Books and Cafe is a new two-story bookstore cafe opening this summer in the heart of Gallatin’s historic square. Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for friendly, reliable Baristas/Cashiers who can serve high-quality drinks and help create a welcoming experience for every customer. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys both crafting coffee and connecting with people .

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare espresso drinks, smoothies, teas, and other beverages Take orders, process payments, and manage the POS system Share product knowledge and make menu suggestions when needed Keep the cafe clean, stocked, and organized Assist with light food prep or serving baked items Create a friendly, respectful environment for guests and team members Help maintain cafe standards and follow food safety procedures

Requirements:

2+ years of experience as a barista at a cafe or coffee bar Dependable, self-motivated, and able to multitask while staying calm under pressure Willing to work mornings, weekends, or flexible shifts as needed Tennessee Food Handlers Card within 30 days of being hired Knowledge of basic kitchen safety and sanitation procedures
