Barista Perenn Bakery 94 East Main Street, Franklin, TN 37064 Perenn Bakery is Coming to Franklin + Nashville Tennessee! Our Franklin location, situated in the historic Boat House building at 94 E. Main Street, is scheduled to open its doors in mid-May. Our Nashville location, which will be our retail and pastry, bread production kitchen at 2934 Sidco Road Suite 130, Nashville, TN is scheduled in mid-May as well! We are currently making offers to candidates and expecting training to start May 19th! Schedule Shifts include 6AM-2:30PM, 7AM-3:30PM, 8AM-3:30PM What to Expect as a Barista Create high-quality, consistent, and enjoyable coffee, tea, and alcoholic beverages while maintaining a comfortable and efficient flow Prepare ingredients of beverage as barista ii begins to pull espresso shots Add flavored syrups or toppings to drink Communicate with barista team about what milk needs to be prepared for espresso beverages and steam it accordingly Communicate with barista team to ensure all ingredients of beverage are correct and as ordered by customer Deliver drinks to customers in a timely manner ensuring they receive the correct beverage Communicate to drink runner to ensure beverages are delivered to customer correctly Communicate with barista team to maintain drink preparation times under 10 minutes Maintain a clean, stocked, and tidy workspace Train new hires on bar Prepare alcoholic beverages following approved recipes Continuously stock the barista station with cups, lids, straws, espresso beans, tea sachets, etc. throughout the day but especially at night before closing Report inventory needs to ensure all products are maintained in stock Report missing, broken, or malfunctioning equipment needs to lead barista and maintenance so it can be replaced or fixed in a timely fashion Assume additional responsibilities as delegated, contributing to the overall success and operational efficiency of the company About You A minimum of 1 year of barista experience 18 years or older (preferred due to alcohol preparation) Exceptional listening and communication skills Commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment Hospitality is at the heart of everything Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing and walking Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time Transparent Hospitality is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
