As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting drinks, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a memorable experience for all guests. This role requires a strong understanding of beverage preparation, cash handling, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Engage with customers, taking drink orders and providing recommendations based on their tastes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accurate cash handling practices. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. Monitor guest consumption levels and intervene when necessary to promote responsible drinking. Participate in promotional events or catering services as required. Skills Proficient in bartending techniques with knowledge of brewing methods and cocktail recipes. Experience in food service or retail environments is preferred, with strong sales skills to enhance customer engagement. Familiarity with Aloha POS systems for efficient order processing and cash handling. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a nightclub or bar setting. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively while maintaining high standards of service.
