Lead Bartender Sticks-N-Stones Cocktail Bar 5852 Elsie Rd, Hoover, AL 35244 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and exceptional customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience. You will play a key role in maintaining the bar area and adhering to all safety and health regulations. Responsibilities Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately for processing transactions. Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering. Adhere to food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders. Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently to maintain a positive environment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred. Strong knowledge of drink recipes, brewing techniques, and mixology principles. Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively. Understanding of food safety practices and food handling regulations. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse clientele.
