Responsibilities:
- Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Prepare and mix cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences and menu offerings
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated or underage individuals
- Handle cash transactions, operate cash registers, and process payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including wiping down surfaces, washing glassware, and restocking supplies
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure excellent customer service and smooth operations
Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of various alcoholic beverages, cocktail recipes, and drink mixing techniques
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and processing payments
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling safety guidelines (if applicable)
- Experience in banquet or catering settings (if applicable)
- Familiarity with brewing techniques (if applicable)
Note:
Prior experience as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
