The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and exceptional guest service skills. This role involves welcoming guests, managing reservations, and providing attentive service in a fast-paced environment. A background in a service industry setting is preferred, as well as familiarity with food safety standards. Responsibilities Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations to ensure efficient seating arrangements. Provide menus and explain daily specials to guests while answering any questions they may have. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication throughout service. Buss tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next patrons. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests. Uphold food safety standards and proper food handling procedures at all times. Assist in managing guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Demonstrate strong time management skills to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during busy shifts. Qualifications Previous experience in a hospitality role, preferred but not required. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential. Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus. Strong guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Basic math skills for processing orders and handling payments accurately. Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. A team player who is adaptable and willing to assist colleagues when needed.
