The Carriage Wine & Market:

Dauphin Island offers a wine-focused bar and bites menu, a thoughtfully curated bottle shop & specialty grocery market, gorgeous beach views, and all-around good times!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Check identification to verify legal drinking age
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints

Skills:

• Knowledge of basic math for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail for accurately preparing drinks and garnishing them
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members
• Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and cocktail recipes
• Experience in the food industry, banquet, catering, or restaurant settings is preferred
