The Food Runner/Busser/Barback plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and accurately while maintaining high standards of food safety and service. Barbacks are tasked with making sure the bartenders are sufficient in glass supplies, juices, and making sure alcohol is always available. If you are looking to be a part of a collaborative team then these position are perfect for you. Responsibilities Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving. Assist servers by communicating any special requests or modifications from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including clearing tables as needed. Support kitchen staff with food handling and preparation tasks when necessary. Familiarize yourself with the menu items to provide information to guests as needed. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and protocols to ensure the health and safety of our guests. Assist bartenders to ensure their job is done sufficient. Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred. Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Familiarity with POS systems. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to help others, including cooks and servers, as needed.
