BBK BARTENDER BB
King’s Blues Club 1801 Eddie L. Tullis Road, Montgomery, AL 36117 Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment. This role requires excellent time management skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience. Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and managing tabs. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure the health and safety of guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods. Stay informed about drink trends and new products to enhance the beverage menu. Experience Previous experience in bartending or a related hospitality role is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Basic math skills for cash handling and mixing drink ratios. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory effectively. Time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts. Ability to brew coffee or other beverages is a plus.
