Bartender/Waitress Burningtree Country Club 2521 Burningtree Drive SE, Decatur, AL 35603 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, engaging with patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall dining experience. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all health and safety regulations regarding food handling and alcohol service. Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system or similar technology. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during busy periods. Assist in catering events as required, providing bartending services for private functions. Requirements Proven experience in bartending or a related role within the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere. Knowledge of mixology techniques, drink recipes, and food handling practices. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in the hospitality industry.
